Overview
The Vivesta playout automation is a full scale broadcast automation product offering a reliable and scalable solution for entry-level playout solutions to fully automated multi-channel ingest and playout solutions.
Vivesta has extensive experience with both ingest and playout automation. For example, the Vivesta automation product is the first solution available which makes it possible for operators to ingest tapes (e.g. DigiBeta) from a remote location to a central Omneon Spectrum Server System, frame-accurate and controlled via one single webbased user interface! This makes automated tape ingest from various locations very easy and fast and eliminates the need for software installation, updates or maintenance on remote operator pc's.
Fault tolerance design
Vivesta products are extremely reliable and have been designed such that failure in device control or network does not interfere playout operation. In addition to a fault tolerance design Vivesta offers various redundancy options including mirroring of both ingest and playout video servers.
